Compliance and Privacy Coordinator

As the Compliance and Privacy Coordinator, Mariah guides the strategic development, implementation, and evaluation of compliance and privacy initiatives across the University, where she also supports the growth of UConn and UConn Health’s policy program.

A critical member of the University’s privacy team, Mariah provides regular guidance to the UConn community on relevant policies and laws. She also contributes to the evolution and success of the institution’s privacy program through education, policy development, and compliance assessment efforts.  

Mariah has been with UConn since 2018 and joined the Office of University Compliance in 2024. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Connecticut in 2014 and is a Juris Doctor candidate at the University of Connecticut School of Law. Mariah is also a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) and the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics (SCCE).
